    Glossed Matthew with prologues (ff. 7v-108v), preceded (ff. 1v-6v) by excerpts from Jerome, Augustine, Pope Leo and others. Created in 1st half of the 12th century in Italy.

    Decorations: 2 large zoomorphic initials, in red, blue, green, and yellow (ff. 7v, 9). 1 diagram showing a schematised family tree from David to Christ (f. 8v). Small initials in plain red.
